SMART TAG

Queue…Queue…. Nowadays with the increasing of people using car as a transportation. The toll become crowd with car in lines to pay the toll. Sometime, people will argue when there are car cut the queue. Therefore the technologies have been introduce in Malaysia. We call it as (SMART TAG) transponder based electronic toll collection system. In 1996, it call as Fastoll. And it being rebranded as Smart Tag in 1998. The system became interoperable with the E-ZPass toll collection system.

 In Malaysia, smart tag develop by Teras Teknologi to compliment the Touch n Go system. Touch n Go system is the smartcard based electronic payment system. Infrared light technology being use to connect between Touch n Go and toll barrier. Smart Tag System consists of an On Board Unit ( SmartTAG), and lane equipment-IS Transceiver (an electronic device mounted above the lane to communicate with the SmartTAG) and IS Controller, which serves to link with the IS Transceiver and to the Lane Computer Systems (LCS). By using Smart Tag my journey become easy and fast. It can be detect the vehicle in 40 milliseconds. People also can check the balance of their Touch n Go card.

GPS (Waze)

From my experience as a not good in remind the maps or direction to go someplace. It became easy for me to go anywhere by using Waze application. Waze have been introduced in the market in 2012 and we can use the application using mobile phone. 

I start using Waze application during 2013 when i have mobile phone Samsung Mini Series. I download the application from the play store and start uses it. It was user friendly application because i able to use it well. The benefit of using Waze as a geographical navigation is it provides the route and real time traffic with the specific alerts. The user also can report the accidents, traffic jams, speed and police trap. From the report by the user it will help others users in keep updated with the traffic information. In addition, Waze also provide voice navigation that we help us as a driver that needs to focus the eye on the road. This will be help in give a safety to the driver and passengers.I also sometimes make the report during traffic jam and also put the details if accident that cause the traffic jam. Other than that, i also can choose which route that i want to use to go someplace. And it help went i want to avoid traffic jam or toll.
